Who are we ?



The Silence of Ambition is an association dedicated to culture, art, and education, whose purpose is to implement all the mechanisms and means to make culture accessible to as many people as possible. Its goal is to act in favor of the emergence of passions and the emancipation of talents whose ambition, if silenced, could remain silent.

The Silence of Ambition is the voice that elevates all aspirations and ambitions, dreams and wills that have been silenced. The silence of illegitimacy, apprehension and fear, that of self-doubt, of one's abilities and one's (rightful) place in society, in the light of socio-economic realities that sometimes cause despair even when one has barely taken a step on the path to self-fulfillment.

It is a help to all those desires caught between whims and a determinism that often prevents one from being; it is a word of hope shod with voluntary steps with a united impulse to silence the murmurs of the impossible; it is a hymn for hope and self-awareness.

Because the constitution of its object is a necessary foundation for the work of a society to which each of us contributes;

Because education makes culture, culture makes education, and the Arts are its lair: all the ardor of our dedication resolutely dedicated to the accomplishment of this goal!

Because culture and education constitute the essence of a society, its foundation, we have made them the heart of our actions. Believing that greater effort and consideration must always be given to them, our constitution. It is about allowing everyone—especially those whose opportunities are too remote or denied them—to shape their future. We are thus waging a battle, however arduous it may be, against fatalism, sectarianism, and ignorance.

The Silence of Ambition presents itself as the framework that fosters the address of this expression. A framework that holds as its primary aspiration and value that the optimism intrinsic to hope and faith in oneself, regains the hearts and consciences of those who are most subject to social reproduction. In this sense, it works to undo the knot holding back a speech struggling to extricate itself from a sometimes persistent silence.

Only after this can voluntarism, the basis of our foundation, be the weapon for all of them that will forge others. This is why we promote the idea that there are no lofty ambitions to which some, due to economic reasons, their socio-cultural origin, their place of residence, their disability, their sex or their age, in short, their difference and singularity, could not or would not be able to aspire. Through our actions, which we intended to be complementary, we are working to eradicate this idea, held by many of these distant people, as a natural order.

The practice of the Arts, the diversity it allows, or at least that it must be able to allow while guaranteeing the singularity of each person, are the cement. The ideal of universal uniqueness thus elevated!

Because a society unequal in terms of access to culture, to artistic practice, to the discovery of its cultural and historical heritage, is a deficient society, doomed to admire the latent fall of its foundation.

An ambition is never (too) high when it responds to the right ardor of the heart. That in view of this consideration, everyone can not only aspire to, achieve, but above all accomplish and satisfy any ambition as long as their will is equal to this aspiration. Therein lies the credo of the Silence of Ambition.

The adoption of this ideal—an active thought and conviction—which thereby establishes the relationship we maintain with those who join us, driven by the curiosity of a rebellious interest, is elementary. Therein lies our only requirement. We are the canvas of the work you undertake for culture, for the young and for those who are a little less so.
